Back Online!

I sold my house last Tuesday, and have been more-or-less internet free for the past 9 days...

But now I am in La Ceiba!!!

(And found a good source of wifi, to boot.)

So there ya go. I'd give you all more of the scintillating details of my life, but a hamburger was just delivered to me, so it's gonna have to wait until later...

Yep, probably at a few places, but I came to the Expatriates Bar because I learned on my last trip that they had set it up to be more robust during their recent remodel.

It's a total gringo place, but sometimes a burger an wifi are just what a person needs...

What is wifi? I went to Expatriates once and I really liked it because they didn't use Honduran cheese.

OMG Jill, I went through a section of the market that was full of cheese today, and I nearly barfed. The smell was OOOOOOOOVERWHELMING. Gross.

WiFi is wireless internet. The "Wi" stands for wireless and I *think* the Fi stands for fidelity, but don't quote me on that.

Basically I've been on the prowl for areas where I can link up to somebody's unsecured (read: not password protected) network, and then surf the web for free, say, while I'm eating dinner by the beach or hanging out on my balcony or whatever.

It beats the cafes where you're jammed in between fat, dripping yachties and kids playing video games.

Oh, I guess that my house has WiFi. Thanks for the vocab lesson. I don't know if I could live without it.
